We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join the Revenue Accounting team. Working under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the incumbent supervises Revenue Accountants tasked with calculating invoice amounts, ensuring data backup is accurate and complete, preparing invoices, collecting outstanding receivables on a timely basis, & P&L variance analysis pertaining to Revenue lines.

Responsibilities
· Review invoices created by staff for accuracy to ensure revenue is correctly invoiced and recorded in the general ledger
· Review schedules, working papers, and journal entries to ensure accounts receivable and revenue accounts are accurate and complete
· Review journal entries and account reconciliations
· Follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure payments are collected in a timely manner.
· Provide direction and coaching to staff to ensure quality of work and productivity is maintained, while adhering to deadlines
· Supervise and monitor the reconciliation process of POS to carrier data to ensure quality level is maintained
· Communicate with carriers to ensure that ongoing issues are addressed effectively and professionally
· Prepare reports and perform related analysis, including monthly P&L variance analysis pertaining to Revenue lines
· Participate in management discussions and meetings as required to ensure the flow of information/issues is adequately communicated
· Perform other related duties
Profile
· Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in business, commerce, accounting or related discipline
· 3-5 years of relevant work experience
· CPA designation preferred
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including prior experience in use of pivot tables, advanced formulas, filtering and organizing large volume of data
· Proven ability to work as part of a team contributing to a positive and progressive work environment
· Ability to meet deadlines during peak periods
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset
